In early 2025, our team received an inquiry from a growing food processing enterprise in Sri Lanka. The company, headquartered in Colombo with a growing customer base across the island, was looking to upgrade its meat processing line to improve production efficiency and product consistency. After reviewing various suppliers and equipment options, they identified the need for a Commercial Stainless Steel Meat Mixing Machine that could handle large-scale mixing without compromising hygiene or reliability.
The initial communication began through an international B2B platform in January. The procurement manager from Sri Lanka shared their production goals:
Daily output of mixed meat ≥ 3,000 kg
High consistency and even seasoning distribution
Food-grade construction to meet both local and export food safety standards
Equipment that could withstand heavy use in hot, humid conditions
They were clear that the mixer had to be stainless steel, reliable, easy to clean, and adaptable to multiple recipes (chicken, beef, and mixed meat products).
Our sales team responded promptly, coordinating a 3-hour video meeting to understand their production environment, workshop layout, and specific pain points with their existing equipment. It quickly became clear that they required not just a meat mixer but a long-term partner who could offer technical support after delivery.
After several rounds of discussions, we proposed our MM-300 Commercial Stainless Steel Meat Mixing Machine as the best fit. The key features that convinced the Sri Lankan team were:
Large 300 kg batch capacity, suitable for their production scale
Food-grade SUS304 stainless steel construction
Adjustable mixing speed and time controls
Safety interlocks and easy disassembly for cleaning
We also provided a custom layout suggestion based on photos of their facility, ensuring that the mixer would fit comfortably into their existing line without major modifications.
The proposal included:
Equipment details and technical drawings
Packing and crating plan for sea freight
Delivery schedule and warranty terms
After-sales support plan including remote installation guidance
After reviewing the proposal, the Sri Lankan team requested a few minor adjustments – mainly around electrical configuration for local voltage standards, and additional spare parts for their remote location. These requests were quickly accommodated by our engineering department, and a final quotation was confirmed.

By early March, the purchase order was signed. The production schedule was set: the MM-300 machine would be manufactured, tested, assembled, and individually inspected before packing. Our quality team documented the entire process with photos and test reports, which were shared with the client for transparency.
One detail that both sides appreciated was the pre-delivery trial. Before shipping, we conducted a full dry run with mixed meat to demonstrate:
Mixing uniformity
Safety interlock performance
Ease of disassembly for cleaning
The Sri Lankan team reviewed the trial video and confirmed that the machine met their expectations.
Given the long journey by sea to Sri Lanka, the machine was carefully packed in reinforced wooden crates, with anti-moisture and anti-collision protection. All parts were clearly labeled, and a full set of spare consumables (gaskets, O-rings, mixing blades) was included.
The shipment departed our factory in Guangzhou in late April and arrived safely at the Port of Colombo after an 18-day voyage. Throughout the transit, our export coordinator kept the client informed with shipment tracking updates.
Once the equipment cleared customs, our logistics partner arranged delivery to the client’s factory. Due to their remote location outside Colombo, we provided additional coordination to ensure timely delivery.
Installation was completed within two days. Even though we were unable to send an engineer in person, our technical support team guided their technicians via video call step by step. From leveling the machine to connecting the power supply and calibrating the control panel, everything was completed smoothly.
The client’s operations director later wrote:
“Your team’s responsiveness and detailed guidance during installation made the process very smooth. The machine performs exactly as expected, and our production efficiency has improved significantly.”
Since commissioning the meat mixer, the Sri Lankan company reported several positive outcomes within the first month:
Average production time reduced by 40%
More consistent seasoning distribution in all batches
Lower labor intensity for mixing operations
Improved hygiene due to easier cleaning and maintenance
They were particularly pleased that even during peak production days, the machine ran steadily without overheating or downtime.
Encouraged by the success of this project, the Sri Lankan client has already expressed interest in expanding their processing line with additional equipment such as vacuum stuffers and automatic linking machines. Discussions are underway for the next phase of cooperation.
This export project to Sri Lanka was more than a simple equipment sale – it was the result of careful listening, tailored solutions, and solid after-sales support. It underscored several strengths of our company:
Responsiveness to client needs
Technical flexibility and customization ability
Commitment to quality and transparency
Strong coordination across sales, production, and support teams
Above all, it demonstrated that well-engineered machinery can make a real difference in a customer’s daily operations – something we take great pride in.
